I would like some recommendations on an under $15,000 used 6cyl sedan that won't date itself; meaning, in 10 years when I sell it, the body style will still look classic and not outdated. I don't drive much in a year, so I figure for me the best way not to take too much of a depreciation his, is to buy a 5 year old or older car with 30k miles and then sell it after 10 years when it has 80k miles.

There's really no way to predict when there will be major body style changes, and all of the manufacturers seem to copy each other so that all car look very much the same. Taking the example of the Ford Escape, the body had only minor changes from 2000-2012, then they did a major complete redo. Now in the 3rd year of that style, it could stay similar for another 10-12 years or they could start to change it in 2016. Others, such as the Subaru Forester have made mechanical changes but the 2015 body has the same general shape
as the original.

Honda typically does not do many radical changes to the Accord from one generation to the next.

That said, 10 years is typically enough time for a couple styling refreshes/changes.... and car is going to look a little dated.

What the car will be worth in 10 years will be more a function of it's condition and overall perceived long term reliability anyway.

I think these 2009-2010 cars will keep their good looks over the next five years...

Hyundai Genesis (might be higher miles though)

Volvo S40:

2009 Subaru Legacy:

Volkswagen CC

Most are 6 cyl, but I wouldn't worry much about a 6 cyl vs 4 cyl.

A 2011 Didge Charger might be an option too - a bit more contemporary in the design though...

Your criteria isn't realistic.

You won't find a plethora of 5 year-old sedans with 30K. And even if you did find a ton of them, 80%(+) of them are going to be 4-cylinders, not 6. With your current criteria, the most likely car you'll find is the LaCrosse, which was nothing great. IMHO.

OP also isn't getting a nice 5 year old v6 sedan with 30k miles for under 15k that will still look with the times by 2025 either, so let's both dream togather

IDK. The '10 Malibu is pretty square looking. It shouldn't look severely dated in 2020.
