Does that mean we are going to have cars like those in "Demolition Man", with self inflatable tires and secure foam?

I love to drive, especially long road trips. I love the feel of being to travel from one city to another. I just took a short road trip yesterday afternoon to Jackson and it was a great haul. I don't think I would want a remote controlled car at this time.

Hmmm...how about a self-casting fishing rod with bait and all? I would just sit on my RV near a pond or something, and let the fishing rod do the fishing while I do the eating and getting fat

Ray, naw man you need it on video from the compond (a rubber room) and with fishy scent blown in on the signal. Virtual everything man LOL

There are people who just can't deal with life I guess. They will likely eat some bland paste and the TV what ever that is, will add virtual spices. Not my way either.

Just curious here; If a tire blowsout, does the "self driving" car know what to do when the tire tread wraps around the suspension and sends the car sliding? LOL just thought I'd ask!

I wouldn't mind on long, tedious trips. I'd read a book, talk to a friend, or maybe watch a movie. Sure would come in handy on those stretches of road in places such as Kansas.

That's very interesting. I wonder if the car will replace it's own flat tire?
