I vaguely remember seeing Lamborghini president or CEO on a 20/20 type show, said something like each car is custom ordered for a person. You can make it any color you want inside and out etc... Is Ferrari similar as in they only build one once it's ordered from a dealer? I noticed you can't find a new Ferrari on autotrader, so that would fit that.
Not true......you can buy a new California or FF at several dealers (because nobody wants these models). Ferrari makes the dealers take them if they want the 458s/ F12s etc.

There was an FF at an Italian car show here, just plain ugly and long, terrible, hideous, etc, etc...
Huh? People who spend more than a few hundred K on a car could give a ___t about the details: if they want it, they'll buy it. Used Ferraris at the Seattle dealer don't gather any dust, from $150K to a million$ and up. Buyers of such often don't hold them more than a few years anyway, there's always another pretty bauble to buy for themselves or the large-breasted, bubblehead bleach-blonde bunny GF. Don't ask me how I know.
Owner of another local exotics shop in Seattle area had what I recall as a slightly-used Aventador spyder ("Roadster") out for Exotics at RTC (weekly car show in Redmond WA) August of last year. That being this one (below). He wanted $500-something K for it. Presumably it was sold pretty quickly, all things considered. What difference does it make, if you've got that kind of money for a car it's all a rounding error on your options and bonus anyway, obviously. Plenty of people around here with that kind of scratch and to them such cars sell themselves. Engine on the boil, said-Roadster sounded like an F1 car and/or Satan's Sunday driver.
I was contemplating selling one of my less-necessary organs to buy a low-miles 2009 Ferrari F430 Scuderia at the same show, until I realized $178K for such a car while "fair" is too far out of my current income bracket to justify. First World Problem, as they say.
As my Russian ex GF (see above description) used to say, "No such thing as too expensive, only insufficient income."
I know someone that sold a BMW 1 Series M coupe a year after he bought it for more than he paid when it was brand new. It was a similar case of supply and demand.
yeah they only made 1500 of them for the US.
