I highly doubt Honda will do a 0w20 oil change for $35...

I've heard the opposite about Mobile 1. I've read that its one of the few Full Syntec oils on the market.

Can anyone clarify?

When I had my Honda and Acura, I actually preferred to let dealer take care of oil change while under warranty. I do oil change myself after that period but letting dealer do the oil doesn't usually cost more. You just have to be careful with the other recommended service they try to up sell.

One big benefit of taking it to dealer is you establish a relationship with the service center. It's much easier to walk in there and have them do service bulletin or warranty work.

The reason being, even at Walmart Mobil 1 is around $27 and filer is what? like $5-8? Not to mention changing the oil drain plug washer which is a couple of bucks. That's over $35 right there. I understand that dealers will get a wholesale price but then what is the mark up on these items for the dealer to allow those prices?

In addition, what I do know is that Honda/Acura A1 service only requires a drain and fill. Meaning, they do not require the filter to be changed. Perhaps filter change is not included in that price?

I actually deleted that post as I began to question what I said myself

So the OP accusing the oil change facility of lying was FALSE and a libel. Is he going to apologize?

Paragon Honda? I wouldn't be surprised if they used recycled oil.

No.. oil and filter change. Normal price that nearby Honda dealer is about $43.

There are other dealer with special for $30. Between $30-$40 plus tax/fees is about what dealer charges.
