very quickly on you were either a mustang, roadrunner, camaro or chevelle guy. I loved my '67 Chevelle and basically these were stock cars, orginally good designs for smuggling moonshine: Chevelles are extremely stable on back country roads with the right tires. I'd blow down back country roads in my Chevelle at speeds I wouldn't consider today on freeways. What was I thinking?
These cars were such an intrinsic part of life in all areas of the USA there didn't seem to be much selling needed. Rivieras, while great and well built, were always considered old folks cars from startup. Buicks were big and powerful but we usually couldn't afford them in high school anyway, until they became second hand.
