Hey I recently found a car on cars for sale I emailed the seller and she told me she is located in jackson ms and I am located in GA she said we could do everything through ebay motors protection program and they will ship the car to me before she can even get my money I was wondering has anyone ever did anything like this if so could you give me some feedback and let me know if its legit or not.. It will be greatly appreciated
Hmmm. Usually they ask you to send money before shipping a car. If you GET the car and thenpay for it, then it's hard to say it's a scam.... But it still could be.
But yeah, I've bought numerous cars from several states away. Usually I ask for a new picture of a specific part or specific angle, so I know they have the car, then I go see it (though i bought off Ebay from a wholesaler 5 states away and paid the deposit before going up to get the car).

Did you find it on EBay or a classifieds site like craigslist?
If it's not on Ebay, then run away.

eBay offers some sort of escrow program for vehicle purchases, that's probably what the seller is talking about.
Best off just flying out there (or drive), check out the car and drive it (or ship it) back. It might not be a scam but it's better to be safe than sorry imo.
