I still write LOF (lube, oil, filter) in my notes when I get an oil change. My ball joints do have a lube port.

Sandyjet - some of us do still use studded snows. So much better than all-seasons, which I feel are a compromise between summer and snow tires. Ya, they do the job but real summers and real snows do it so much better.
My 1969 car came brand new from Factory with 7 full sized Rims and Tires

Four regular, two snows and one spare. That is something you never see anymore.

Every fall and every spring switching out the snow tires and rotating in spare what a pain.

Now days a spare is never even put on the car and some cars done have spares.

Car Generator and Smog Convertor are old school stuff.

Also my 1976 Jeep had a CB Radio with a Whip Attenna, remember those gigantic Antennas some with a flag on top

Breaker Breaker Smokey ahead 10-4

It's gotta be "point bounce” again. The damn point gap just wouldn’t hold.

Chalk,

I remember I used chalk line with timing light to do a tune up. Dont think folks do that anymore.

Rethread Tires - Remember when you buy them rethreaded and used motor oil. They strain it and reuse it. They actually sold that stuff

Remember when cars didn't have turn signals and you had to stick your arm out the window to signal?

How about oil bath air filters? My Dad has a 1952 Pontiac Chieftain, it had an indian head hood ornament and a straight 8 cylinder engine. It had an AM radio with tubes, if you ran it without the car running, it would discharge the battery in about 15- 20 minutes. Oh, I forgot it had the OPTIONAL tree mounted turn signal lever.

Also, instead of fuel filters there was often a "sediment bowl" that had a glass bowl that you unscrewed and dumped out on occasion. We had an International truck that had a hand pump for pumping wiper fluid. The truck had a "dual low" gear for creeping.
