I would like to see bike lanes on busy roads protected by curb strips rather than simply defined with paint. I think it would benefit both cyclists and drivers.

That said, if you don't support a dedicated lane for a vehicle that on average goes 10 mph, don't complain when you're stuck behind that vehicle in the general-purpose lane you have. Remember, bikes are entitled to the full lane and are road vehicles by law.

Regarding bikes and bike lanes, just because you don't use a feature, doesn't mean it should be removed. With that thinking, everyone in a car should clamor for the removal of buses too. They take the whole lane and come to frequent, complete stops, holding up everyone when they don't have a dedicated space.
Transit busses are the only reason I can see eliminating on street parking, especially with bike lanes.

No, they belong on the roads their taxes pay for.
OK then, let's end the free ridership the spandex brigade enjoys and subject them to the same safety inspections, tag and registration requirments and everything else actual motorists are subjected to.

Or instead, you could just stay off the roads and continue to enjoy your free ridership schemes.

You are an effing idiot.

I assume your comment is in support of bike lanes which tells me that you have obviously allowed your mind to be polluted by the bleeding-heart liberal, Special-Interest Socialists!

All hail autokar hitler, all of your bicyles, and mopeds, and scooters under 250cc are goimg to be put in concentration impound lots, forced to be driven in nail filled parking lots, their fuel tanks filled with kerosine, the oil shed will be too much to bare. The inferior vehicles will be slowly killed in rust chambers. We must put a stop to Fuherer Z, he's trying to ruin the dream of Dr. Martin Luther Caddilac, with is idealogy of the arian vehicle.
