I do. They seem almost identical to me. Maybe the X1 is a bit lower, but other than that . . .

The BMW lineup is a mess from top to bottom. They got 1s, 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s, 6s, 7s and a bunch of Xs, and all like too much alike, especially the front.

X1s look awkward to me, I don't know why but the overall shape just looks a little clumsy. I think the X3s look just about right for the type of car/small crossover that they are and promoting the brand image and face. I definitely can tell the difference between the two models from a ways away.

I will agree with the post above that they all are starting to look alike, and that BMW seems to want to produce every possible iteration in each size class, it does get confusing and there is more than a little overlap in models.

Yes similar but, the X3 has different lines, costs more, gets less mileage, larger wheels and its options are more expensive !!

X1 just looks too low and "fragile" to me. I can pick them out easily vs. the X3.

The price is a good area to start. The X1s are cheap and if you size them up side by side it's very noticeable.

Nobody is impressed with these entry level Benz or BMWs. Be it the CLA or X1 or whatever. It shows you are desperate and can’t afford the “real thing”.

I feel like the X1, overall, looks much cheaper than the X3 or X5. The X1s I have seen out in the wild look to be the lowest trim level and honestly not nicer than a 'regular' non-luxury brand.

I had an X-1 as a loaner once. Wow was it cheap inside compared to an X5. They are poorly designed inside. Even the cup holders seemed to be an after thought.

The x1 looks much different. I actually get the x3 and x5 confused more than the x1 and x3.
