1992 to 5 Buick Roadmaster Wagon! I had a 1992 that simply did everything from being a one person commuter to hauling five friends on a longish trip to carrying stuff. It handled dirt roads without a problem and the twisties just fine. Expressway cruising was an exercise in sensory depravation.

Unfortunately, the rust demon ate mine.

I'm an outlier here. My favorite wagon was a 1980 Honda civic. 30 mpg even around town. I liked that I could open the hatch and haul 4-5 pieces of sheetrock or plywood, no problem. It was green and named okra, so it was the model that resembled one.
