They are both at the same price point but I give the edge in styling to the Q50. Name-wise, I am not sure what carries more weight; Infiniti or Lexus. There are similar lease offers on both.

The new ES350 isn't as good as previous generations

I'd go with the Q50

Name wise, I would guess that Lexus carries more weight in terms of reliability and customer service.
However, I would go with the Q50 for the looks and driving dynamics.

Q50 if you like driving (caveat: reviewers seem to hate the steer-by-wire option, so it's probably best to avoid it).

The Lexus analogue to the Q50 as far as dynamics and driver feedback is the IS350. The ES350 is pretty much a Lexus Buick.

FWD Lexus vs RWD/AWD Infiniti?

That right there would decide it for me.....well that and I am already an infiniti owner/enthusiast.

I really didnt see how this ES 350 is worth a upgrade over a loaded Avalon.
