Morning - Huge fan of the Ford Mustang. Unfortunately I live in an area with snowy winters so the RWD isn't an option.

Wondering if you could recommend a car that has a strong engine, muscle car look with FWD.
(excluding dodge..no offense!)

Also hoping to keep costs below 15k

Do what I always did, I had a muscle car for the nice months and then put it away and drove a beater in the Winter on the snowy salted roads. That way you can have the Fox you really want.

Toronado was never a muscle car it was a luxury car like the Eldorado , and the Riviera. No such thing as a Fwd muscle car.

And this.

When I lived in Indiana I had a Mustang and motorcycle for summer months and a Cherokee for winter months. Having a winter beater is great for not only winter but also if you need to work on one or the other you have backup transportation. Pay for it in cash and keep liability insurance on it only to keep things cheap. I hate being without a beater.
I agree I'm from metro Detroit home of the muscle car and the winter beater cars. Have you been to the Woodward Dream Cruse in Michigan it's muscle car heven this clip was from 2012 but it's like this every year but bigger and better, its famous all around the world.

Not sure of too many FWD muscle cars. I'm in MA. I like my 300C AWD Hemi. Also a fan of the Charger AWD Hemi. Getting a good used one for $15k - would really have to search hard. My car kicks a$$ in the snow - pretty much laughs at it.

The closest to what you describe would be a V6 coupe version of the Nissan Altima, Honda Accord, or Pontiac G6. Not as many of them around as the sedan V6 versions. The performance of midsize sedans with the V6 engine today is pretty hot. 0-60 acceleration numbers in the 6 second range. If you raise your price range you could get some hot Audi or Volvo S60 FWD cars. But none of the FWD cars today would be what most motorheads would call a muscle car. As one pointed out, Pontiac and Chevy did offer a V8 for a limited time in their large sedans (Grand Prix & Impala) so those would be the closest to a FWD muscle car. Today's V6 family sedans offer about the same acceleration numbers and better handling than those two models. Another option is to go with a performance compact sedan or hatchback.
