A window cling with the insignia of my son's college and a VT sticker for Vermont - because we like to go there.

Just on the family SUV.

Nothing on my car. Ever.

I used to have a front bumper sticker written in reverse so guy in front of me could read it in his rear view mirror.

I remember one as a kid (I used to ride my bike by the car often):

I have a window cling for our local MINI Club. I do have 1 bumper sticker, it gets a lot of pictures taken of it and a lot of laughs.

Spoiler

A yellow Oregon O on the back of my Xterra. I get a lot of thumbs up or an occasional O hand gesture here in Austin. Nothing special. My wife has a Texas Exes sticker and a Heart in Oregon sticker on here back window.

Would never put anything on the paint though.

Negative.

I think it's a form of attentionwhoring.

Unless it's super funny OR supporting a cause...like donating money to save someone, which I think fits in different category and not "bumper sticker".

Yes. I pretty much always have political stickers on my car. Right now I also have one from public radio and a decal from my high school.

Bumper stickers and decals are two different things, IMO.

When I think bumper stickers, I think of some beat up old SAAB or Subaru with peace symbols, fish with legs, some crappy grunge band, W with a no sign, and other knick knacks all over the bumper, rear hatch, etc. Not no, but hell no.

Decals, like some dude with muscle car with Edlebrock or Flowmaster or import with GReddy or Apex'i on it is something else or an F-250 with Ranger or Mossy Oak on the back. Not necessarily my thing, but I don't necessarily think that it is tacky like a bunch of bumper stickers.

I remember that car. It also had a sticker on the front bumper reading: If the springs are squeaking, don't be peeking.
