A Camry outsells a Camaro 5 to 1. Family sedan vs muscle car. Not a fair comparison. Plus the Camaro factory is in Ontario Canada, literally right across the border from Michigan.
Compare the Camry to the Cruze. Or the Camry to the Fusion. Both of those cars are American made, and GM sells more cars worldwide than Toyota does.
My point was that "buying American" doesn't mean what it used to.
Oh, trust me, it would happen. Especially with all the muscle car weenies that think smoking the tires is so cool, when the fact is, that means you're losing traction while the WRX is off ahead of you accelerating.
Hmm arent Subarus stereotypically driven by lesbians?
No thanks, Ill take a $50,000 muscle car anyday. Nothing like the rumble of a V8 and smoking tires to go along with it.
You're thinking Outbacks. Subaru is weird in that it has two very distinct fanbases. One are the typical greenie outdoorsy types that need a car for their sensible shoes. The other are the performance mad hooners that wore out their Mazdas and BMWs.

I do however like German cars but wouldnt drive a new Japanese import if you left one in my driveway with keys and a title. Especially a Honda.
Different strokes man. While you may not like Hondas you should at least respect them as an engineering company.
Food for thought:
1999 Mustang GT
260 hp/ 4.6L motor
56.5hp/L
1999 Honda Civic Si
160 hp/ 1.6L motor
100hp/L
Even the 2013 mustang GT is not up to that level of efficiency.
