Depends on maintenance on fleet vehicle; often over looked by need to be available constantly. I wouldnlt buy one from company I worked with as I saw now abused in that area.

Not really a beater. I am willing to bet most of those miles are highway, so it's probably in pretty good shape.

Man, I love this truck! Ordering new Bilstein shocks tomorrow and steering stabilizer. Then will get an alignment. Decided against lifting/level it, it's already huge and don't want to risk not fitting in garage or parking garages after I put on a larger wheels/tires. Kiddos already have a time time climbing in. Going to put in some air bags to help with towing most likely.

A detail shop really cleaned her up. Body is in very good shape, other than tail gate which has a decent dent and black trim piece missing. Will keep eye on a used one. A couple little dings that PDR would remove. Going to put on black fender flares to cover up a few paint chips around wheel wells.

Once you're past $999, you no longer have a beater, and most should go for half that.

Score!

Those flares in your first post are bushwhacker pocket flares. I think they're about $400 and you can easily install them in a weekend. An afternoon really.

Replacing that trim bit on the tailgate should clean it up enough you'll hardly notice the dents.

Get a 'leveling kit' for the front suspension to square the truck up, I think they're pretty cheap for those since their coil spring. Yours looks pretty flat already, might not be ab issue.

Theres way too much chrome. Flat black Plastidip your bumpers and grill and they'll match the mirrors, trim, flares, running boards, and rims/tires. I'd go ahead and do whatever trim pieces were left as well. Make sure you put on at least 5 coats so it comes off easy if you want it to.

Throw on some black slightly offset rims and some slightly bigger tires, she'll be looking sharp!

I think black on white (or any primary) color schemes look sharp. Clean and simple.

I agree, chrome must go. I personally like black more.

It's really looking good, I think you made a good choice.
