Does anyone know where I might be able to buy one of these that have pockets big enough to actually hold a registration card? In my case for Oregon it would have to be at least 3.5" x 7". Yes, I know you can fold it over, or stretch it between the two pockets, and then put the insurance card on top, but thats just messy and defeats the whole purpose of having it in the first place.

I have seen some DIY options, but not much else. I'm looking for something that looks professional and is durable.

Any ideas?

Check with your insurance company. They usually give them away to their clients.

Not exactly what you are looking for, but a suggestion: In each of my vehicles I have an envelope sized multi-pocketed holder. I keep registration, insurance docs and gas receipts in them. I do not like loose papers or documents through the vehicle. They can be found at Staples, Target, Walmart, etc.

Thanks, but I looked on eBay. Thats where I got that pic from. Unfortunately they are all that same exact size. Can't anyone make one big enough to actually fit the registration card in?

Yes, that might be my best bet. I found some pictures of some insurance Policy Holders / Portfolios that might be just about the right size. Some of them look pretty nice too. I'll look into it more.

Yeah, thats kind of what I'm doing now. The reason I like to have a dedicated registration / insurance card holder is for when I get pulled over. It just makes it so much easier to just grab it and hand the whole thing to the cop. Otherwise I'm like, Just a minute. Let me find my insurance card. It turns into a disaster. Thats why I'm kind of obsessed with finding something good to hold the documents in.

Ya know what's even easier? Don't get pulled over!! Then you never have to worry about handing anything over!!

It's worked for me.
