They did the same with the 2003 generation Malibu. Didn't stop the 2004 generation Malibu from ending up in the rental fleets

Looks better than the Civic while still being a fairly generic sedan.

Here's the deal with Toyota Corolla. It runs forever, hold strong resale value, been proven by decades. Same with Honda Civic.

Toyota/honda dominates econo box buyers market.

GM still haven't figured out how to build a quality Econ box, I think they sit at the round table thinking up ideas on how to fool american buyers to support there sales goal.

What they need to do is sit at the round table, think of a way to make there cars reliable, then the sales numbers rise itself.

That's just my opinion folks.
