Thank you.

But it's a good thing that you haven't seen me driving a 1981 F-150 I have. It's full of rust, and screams, "cheap driver."

So you are telling us a personal story or commenting on what your thoughts on BMW drivers are like?

Around here BMW is a regular persons car. I don't know of any pimps driving them. I would think a pimp would be more suited to an older Cadillac or maybe a big old Lincoln. I can walk out into our parking structure here at work and the lot has its share of BMW products. None of those people as far as I know are into the pimping trade. Who knows I might be wrong. Not sure on the debt load as you can never really tell with how much someone has or does not have.

Starting prices for a 2 series are in the mid to high 30's which is the same for the 3 series cars.

But honestly, if you want the answer to this question, it should come from other people.
Because they are the ones receiving the message.

So what does you car say...to others...is up to others to define, I suppose.

1977 Kawasaki KZ650
2012 4 Runner 4x4
2014 SL 550
In L.A., the Kawi would probably mean the owner is a blue collar freeway commuter. The 4X4 would mean someone paid extra for 4WD they'll never need. The SL 550 would mean the driver is renting a crappy apartment, leasing the Mercedes, and doesn't have two cents in the bank.

I have no idea what they say about you in Texas.

What I drive says I am not into spending money. Currently driving our family mover, 2003 Chevy Astro Van. I like the looks of the van and what is interesting our kids don't want us to get rid of it, because of too many memories. The van keeps working and we have taken great care of it. It does have over 150,000 miles on it but from what I have heard from friends that know about the 4.3 liter engine in that van is it likes to live a long life.

As long as it is pumping air we will probably keep it.

Have you seen the price of pickups? The most popular Ford F150 sells for over $40,000. That is more than the most popular BMW out there. Now I am wondering if all my friends that drive the 4 door F150 XL have them because of a lease. What do you think?

My low mileage 2003 GMC Safari probably says Soccer Mom or someone with a big family, even though I am neither.

My 2010 Corolla probably says the driver is commuting to a boring office job. Guilty as charged.

To be fair a lot of contractors and businesses lease F150 pickups for tax reasons.

Buffy and Tad's BMW well they're really just broke.
