Gun racks used to be a great place to carry rolled up blueprints.

I have a Wilson cell phone signal amplifier. It works great.

I can too... it's just my cars are always the oldest on the road compared to other commuters here in the SF Bay Area...

People have come up to me and asked what curb feelers are for and I explain they protect my whitewalls... then again... I have whitewall tires and many youngsters have never seen those...

I use to drive cars that had fender skirts I had a 70's Buick Electra 225 with a 454 that had them, and others when I was a wrecker driver in the late 70's. And you also don't see those stupid grounding strips draging on the ground anymore people thought it protected you from lightning striks, but failed to realize that they already had grounding devices on their car they were called TIRES. Then there was the splash guards you put behind you tires that attached to the outside of the wheel well. And wind deflector that went on the front of the hood. My favort was those little plastic pieces that you mounted in your grill ith 2 way tape that would scare the deer away those did not work. And glass belted tires.

They thought they were a good idea in the northern states untill they get all bent and cracked from all the slush that freezes in the wheel well and you kick the frozen slush off with your feet and the splash guards would come flying off or you they get damaged.

I just added some of those to my GT Mustang that is my daily driver. With stanced tires on the back (275s here), your quarter paneling takes a beating. My GT is black so the guards don't show up horribly and can be removed in about 5 minutes. They are keeping the side of my car cleaner as well from less dirt and road debris kicking up the side of the car from the front tires.

How about syphons? They were popular in the 70s where you had to move gas from one car to another.
