This modification itself reduces traction, this is fact. If you take a tire and set enough camber so that 1/3 of that tire doesn't contact the ground, you've effectively reduced traction.
As I said before, I very highly doubt a cambered car will crash into you because it is cambered or has "reduced traction".
Though I defend and like the camber trend, I too would never camber a car to the point that part of the tire isn't touching the ground. It seems excessive to me, but whatever floats your boat. You do what you want with your money and your car.
I did OK when I used to work, but I certainly couldn't have afforded to buy a new set of tires every 2-3K miles. Where do these folks get the cash they are obviously burning through (both literally and figuratively).
Maybe to some but people don't point and laugh at raked muscle cars.
I don't care what anybody drives but those Donks and over cambered cars are just goofy looking.
I'd point and laugh in the sense that it looked goofy, like the suspension isn't setup properly. If there is a practical performance oriented reason for doing this I could understand but it definitely looks strange to have all that wheel gap in the rear.

Had you been around back in the day you would know why every pimple faced kid jacked up the back of his street car.
He wanted to look just like the drag racer at the track looked.
What excuse do the pimple faced kids of today have for the clown cars they are driving?

I don't have a clear answer for that but at least we can both agree they looked like clowns.

Both look silly but only one is demonstrably unsafe. I only care about the unsafe one. Making your car look silly doesnt effect me.
Chances are the "unsafe" one won't affect you either
