On the phone w/ hubby RIGHT NOW! They have evacuated the main tent once already at B-J and supposedly the tent with all the big cars over at Russo collapsed. That is what they are hearing.
I'll confirm they evacuated the main Barrett Jackson tent, I was there when they announced that it was unsafe to stay under it and started making people leave. Not a fun way to end the night.
Russo and Steele did have two tents collapse and it did quite a bit of damage to some of the collector vehicles. They also evacuated that event.
Also want to add that due to debris from the tent collapse, Loop 101 between Scottsdale and Hayden is closed.
Thanks. Hubby was there as well when the tent had to be evacuated. I got online here and found a report of a tornado near Desert Ridge Mall and a tornado warning for Scottsdale. I've since talked to him some more and he said all was well and everything seemed to be okay. He also said that one of the Russo tents ended up on a highway. OUCH!
CRAZY!!!!
If you see a big group of guys from Dallas............ my husband is probably in that group. LOL!!!
I'm confused, I was watching/dvring B-J and they did not evacuate the main tent. Apparently some others blew down but they implored folks to stay in the main tent.
It's crazy weather we're having! I'm just wondering what streets will flood first!
From what I understand, Saturday is supposed to be a bit better. At least we aren't going to have 40 mph winds. And on top of it all, I'm getting a cold .
as an owner of an old car that we have been restoring for 3 years now. a 65 chevy panel truck,i love watching this and getting some ideas for our truck but i do find they have way too many corvettes and mustangs. im so sick of them...
