Well if you are looking to put a couple grand in after purchase that very well could include an engine swap which gives you a number of possibilities of you buy something that has a blown motor.
Heck you could drop a 2JZ in your IS300 and put down near 500hp. That's a pretty popular swap with guides all over on how to do it.
Hi guys, I am actively trying to sell my Lexus IS300, so I'm trying to figure out what my next car should be. I am interested in something that is decently quick or has the potential to be quick with a few modifications. Ultimately, I'd like a car that could do low 14's with a few things done to it. I'd prefer a sedan, but that is not a deal breaker. Also, it must be either a 4 or 6 cylinder. Also must have a good aftermarket for modifications. Not looking to spend any more than $4000; I guess I'd be willing to budge a little if it was for the right car. What do you guys suggest?
Not much some bolt ons and the tune that's popular on them, hondata good for 14.0@100.
Wow that is impressive!
