I have a older 7 foot 6 westren plow.it's currently on my k1500 blazer.my question is I want to put it on my 98 chevy z71.can I just take off the mount and switch it to the newer truck?

Without checking their listings,my guess is the push plates are different,does that run a pump off the crank?

Is the Blazer the old K5 solid axle or the IFS axle front end? If it's the newer 90-99 body style with IFS the front frame/horns/bumper were the same and everything should just bolt up.
If it's the older 72-91 K5 you should be able to order the mounts for a 89-99 K1500. Chevy had a body style overlap few years in the 89-92.

Lol. Well newer meaning newer than the 70-91 body. But yeah I get you. My " new" truck is almost 15 years old. My daily driver is a 04
