Was following behind someone whose brake lights kept going off and on. At first I thought it was a loose switch but then the car ahead turned off and the brake lights stopped flashing.

Yeah, there are those that do. Years ago I was always told it was because it was because those that did it grew up driving a stick and were used to keeping their foot on the clutch pedal. I don't know.

What frosts me are those people who coast drive, slow down going up hills and then go like bats out of Hell down the other side. And people who stop at green lights.

I've seen that so yes some people ride their brakes. I have also seen people that can't maintain a steady speed which is annoying also. I see a lot of people stop short at a red light and creep forward while waiting.

I know people that drive that way and I don't know how they do it. I used to drive stick and when I first drove an auto attempted the two foot method and proceeded to lock up the brakes when I thought I was pushing the clutch...oops. Just habit I guess. The worse is when you follow someone like this and there brake lights are on 100% of the drive because they are resting their foot on the pedal just enough to trigger the lights.

Even with three pedals some people do that. Maybe they are resting his left foot

Left foot braking is a technique used by folks at the racetrack. On the street....not so much.

Only this one time someone gave me the finger as he was trying to turn onto the road even though I had the right of way and was at the speed of the road, and after that he was behind me at the light so when it turned green I did a huge burnout and some of the smoke even got into a restaurant adjacent to the light, I would have undoubtedly gotten a ticket that day if police saw it.

Yes but from a legal standpoint using two feet isn’t specifically prohibited in any state but if you lose control and cause a collision, you could be charged with careless driving or dangerous driving causing bodily harm/death.

You really do have a serious road rage problem.
