I have a 2011 honda accord and removed the brake fluid cap just fine to check it, in about October but I went to check it again today and the cap won't come off, I wonder if it's becasue of the cold weather? It came off so easy last time I don't remember which way to turn it, and if I should press up or down when turning. The cap will rotate about a quarter inch eithor way, then won't go any farther.

I don't think it's crossthreaded. And if I recall I think I turned it right to open it seems to hit something if I turn it left.

How cold of a weather are we talking about? I would mess with it if it's below freezing. You're liable to crack the cap or damage the threads.

Very funny but I don't want to break it, when I try to force it the plastic brake fluid reservoir moves and I don't want to break it.

Here is a picture of what it looks like http://www.tegger.com/hondafaq/misc/crv-bf-resv.jpg if you try to turn it left it gets caught on that little white plastic piece on the bottom and there is a similar piece stopping it from going right.

It could have a vacuum seal. Loosen it and try to lift one side to break the vacuum seal.
