Maybe someone like Carmax who can transfer from one lot to the other? That at least opens up the rest of the country for inventory.

I usually do a 500 mile radius on my car searches. That road trip home is a great way to get to know the new car.

It just may be the car but don't let emotions get to you. Have it checked out. If the car checks out and the price is right, why not?

Bad vibe as in what? I get my vehicles inspected before purchase, never buy anything without a clear title in hand, and refuse to sign any contract before reading it thoroughly and agreeing to the terms. As long as I do those things, I don't get screwed, and neither should any other buyer.
