Slow, loud, unsafe, no thanks. My neighbor's maintenance guy drove one of these with a ton of miles on it. He said that he had to fully rebuild the engine every 80k miles because it was always revving so high just to keep up with traffic.

I drove one for a courier vehicle in the 80's, it was great for that task. Small enough to fit anywhere for parking in the city, great gas mileage and cheap. Definitely not the car for someone who cars about driving though. I don't think the OP has any idea what 'people who car only about driving' think what so ever.

was thinking about this toady, no matter what day, what time, what month, it can be 2am on a sunday moring, no matter what road you get on, there somebody driving 12 miles under the speed limit with 17 cars crawling up his tail. and he really thinks he not doing anything wrong

so why have v8 and turbo v6, 300 hp cars. not one of them even been over 35 mph. I cant wait till the google car comes out, why, because the people in my neighbor are too freaking stupid to drive. it take me 45 minutes to get to work, its 12 miles away. I dont remember the last time i been over 40 mph. and we are talking about open county roads, but there alway one guy doing 30 with 17 cars, and no where to pass.

oh last month, I pass him, i finally got by, he chase me down, for 42 miles to get the telephone number off my truck and called my boss........... because i pass him. didnt make him wreck, didnt make him late, didnt make him get a ticket. he was upset because he wasnt leading the parade any more.

so why do we need camero and challergers, mustangs, we could all have geo

here is an even better one, even though i like the cars;

the car was a blast to drive, but required a calendar to time it to 60. it could turn in as much as 40mpg, usually more like 35 though. and you could do a U turn on most residential streets without touching either curb.

Are you saying "cheap driving"? Because there is nothing fun about driving or owning this rattle trap. And if you get in a wreak in one, you are a goner for sure.

I have a 88 Honda CRX Si sort of a similar car, very lightweight, its considered sort of a sports car and not fast but fast enough to feel fast and more than enough to keep up on the freeway or anywhere. There popular, I see more of them still than most any other 88 to 91 car and they're appreciating.

So it's perfect for those paying more attention to their texts than the road.
