So anyways I bought a used (2006 Chevy Silverado) pickup at the beginning of January and last week drove one of my stupid friends in it (another big mistake, am pretty much no longer friends with him anymore thankfully) anyways he was drunk and cut his hand and got blood in my truck. I bought some Armorall wipes (BIG mistake, wasn't paying attention as to what I was buying) thought they were pretty much Lysol wipes for vehicles, but nope they were detailing wipes, and ended up using it throughout the dashboard and it looks terrible. All shiny and streaky and what not.
But come spring around May I am planning on getting a complete interior & exterior detail done (I live in Minnesota and the winters here and salt on the roads are very hard) Was just going to get the exterior but unless anyone has a (simple) suggestion how to get the armorall off I'll just get an interior as well. Besides, it'll be good as well since all the snow and slush and other winter gunk in the upholstery can be cleaned out as well.
Do not use dish soap on a dash.... the materials need conditioning to keep from being damaged. UV rays from the sun will eventually dry out the dash and cause it to crack, warp, or fade.
Buy an interior detail cleaning spray and use that to wipe down the dash. It may take a couple of passes but it will remove the armor all.
Once you do this, you need to re-condition the dash. You can buy detailing sprays that leave a matte finish to protect the dash if you don't like a high gloss. Not keeping one protected will eventually lead to warping/cracking/fading of the dash.

You'll have to use something to protect the dash. As far as the streaks go you can use Armor All spray with a soft cloth to even them out.

Only a teeny tiny little bit got on the upholstery and I took that out with peroxide, the rest was on the dash and the side of the door, the vinyl or plastic or w/e material it is
