There are so many favs from the 80s.

My first car was a 89 VW Jetta GLI 16v, that thing was fun to drive. Came with factory recarro seats, and i lowered it on neuspeed springs. Also had a 88 VW GTI 16v...it was like a go cart. Friend in high school had 88 Mazda RX7. Another friend had 89 Taurus SHO.

My dad had 84 BMW 535, my sister had 84 Volvo 740 Turbo, We also had 89 Dodge Caravan. My cousin bought a 1986 Acura Integra when they first debut in the US. Another cousin had 88 Trans Am GTA,

I always wanted 87-88 Mitsubishi Starion/ Conquest. 1989 Mazda RX7 Turbo GTU. 1988 BMW M3, 1988 BMW M5, 1984 Monte Carlo SS, Porche 944 turbo, 80s Toyota truck, and many more...

I had a 1987 Chevy Celebrity Eurosport. It was 10 years old when I got it in High School, but my God did I love that thing. I bought it for $200. It had been in a couple of minor wrecks, and so it was tri-colored. Occasionally, neither of the front doors would open, and so I had to climb in from the back. Being young and stupid, I made a determined attempt to kill the thing. I would never change the oil, drive it at speeds up to 120 mph, and run it into things. It was an unkillable car. I eventually sold it for the same price I bought it for. If I could find another one in decent shape, I'd snap it up in a second.

Great list until I read......."We also had 89 Dodge Caravan"......I would think one would be bad, couldn't imagine owning 89 of them!

Until 2 years ago, I had a 1984 Nissan Maxima with only 75K miles on it. That was a fun car to drive. It looked very similar to this one:

I ended up selling it to a college student. It was his first car he bought with his own money.
