While it wasn't exactly 80s I had a Syclone. But if I had one car from the 80s it would be a Buick GN/T-type/GNX or Turbo T/A. For import it would have to be a Testarossa

My dad had one of these back in the early 90s through maybe 2002. 1987 735i. I still miss it.

Put 165k miles on a '86 BMW 535i before getting sorta T-boned by a garbage truck (I hate it when that happens). I expected it to go to 200k miles easily and was sad to see it go...basically being irreplaceable for me.

It was a roomy mid size sedan, big straight six with a manual 5 speed trans. Great long cruise road car with a good blend of style, comfort, and performance. Its leather seats were like easy chairs.

Here is a very similar car 1986 BMW 535i in same nice blue/silver metallic. I prefer it without the add on spoiler.

Ford F 150 Pickups were great.

Toyota Celica/Supras were great cars (early 80's)

I cannot think of any American cars I could afford that I liked. Maybe the Olds Cutlass.

And of course the Buick Grand National with the 3.8 V6
