My garage is stuffed full of boats. Maybe I'll actually get the car into the garage this summer but unlikely. I'd need a shed to store all the other debris stashed in the garage like snow tires, lawn mower, bicycles, big wheeled recycling bins, etc.

We'd roll it out of the garage to do things like sandblast the rear frame while the bed was partially disassembled in the garage getting the new wood coated in urethane and reassembled.

That truck is awesome.

Soooo, what exactly do you do for fun in your spare time? More importantly, what the hell are you in here for if you don't like cars?

That's quite the logic fail. Just because I don't want to do or enjoying doing oil changes myself doesn't mean I don't like cars. I'm actually quite fond of them.

Generally only those that cannot afford to pay someone else to do it.

If I'm reading this correctly, this is another massive logic fail.

Yes, I could certainly afford it, and do pay for 2 of them, but my truck I do myself, simply because I enjoy it. Actually, by the time you buy the oil and decent filter, and take the old oil for recycling, the cost is not that much less than the $29.95 my dealer charges.

Or they want to get the job done faster than what a trip to a garage takes.

Opening the hood is easy. Popping all the plastic rivets holding the large plastic cover over the engine is the PITA. The only thing that can be done easily is adding windshield fluid.

Everyone has friggin loud-a$$ landscapers here... you think they work on their own cars? I mean I'm no hobbyist mechanic but I can do tire rotation and various checks... and I also hand wash my own car and mow my own lawn.
