I don't mean the mass produced stuff.

I'm talking about a car produced entirely by an American firm that was equal to or better than the best produced cars of Europe for its time. Would that be the Duesenberg Model J?

Cadillac V16. Back when Cadillac was a Rolls-Royce competitor.

Buck Grand National Evolution? 680hp 10.1s 1/4 mile. What's not to like about a Buick that could out accelerate super cars of its time?

They used the vague term "best".

So in that one measure sure and it is a really cool car even if they only made a few but kinda sorta didn't but rather upgraded a couple.

However, in terms of cornering, top speed or trim etc. it's going to be dead last in about every other category.

While a really cool example, not sure it's fair to compare something built in the 1000's to something that was "four" off modded to just drag race.

Had to look that up. It was street legal and emissions certified? The one pic I found does not appear as so but it con be further modified. The hood was cut for the turbos?Appears the g-body was already out of production when these were assembled.
