Any fellow MoPar musclecar enthusiast/owners on board? I currently own a '70 Plymouth Duster 340, #'s matching original car. Its painted original color what Plymouth called FY1 "Top Banana". High impact bright yellow.
I come from a family of MoPar enthusiast. My father owns a '69 Plymouth Sport Fury which we purchase new. Very rare color, Sandpebble Beige. Its a big block 383 4bbl. His car may be probably the very best one left in existance. 46K orig. miles in the odometer..
My brother is restoring a Hemi Orange '70 Challenger R/T. Body is 100% restored to original, drivetrain in more resto-mod. The 383 produces just over 500 streetable HP. I can post a link for some pics if we have any other enthusiast interested...........

Yes, I have been a Mopar enthusiast for a long time.
I have many car mags from the '50s-'70s with Mopar road tests. One of my favorite is a "Drag Racing" magazine from June, 1969. They test a '69 Dart GTS with the 440-Magnum engine. It ran a 12.7 sec @ 112 mph 1/4 mile with just a change to wider tires (the stock E70x14s had zero traction).

I owned a '66 Dodge Dart GT from 1979 to 2002. It had the 273 V-8 and I modified it (dual exhaust, shift kit, 3.23 axle replacing the 2.93s, 4-bbl Carter AFB 500 cfm carb, Holley intake manifold and electronic ignition).

It made good power for its small size and was pretty fun to drive. I really liked the console shift and the bucket seats (and all of that exterior chrome).

I would like to own in the future a '69 Dodge Coronet R/T 440-Magnum. That is probably my favorite Mopar and favorite muscle car.

Mopars were the hottest thing on the road back in the late 60's. I'm not a collector, but I've always admired the 68/69/70 models. A friend of mine used to own a '68 Charger R/T with the 440 Magnum, 4 spd, and man, could that beast move!

I'm a Chevy guy but I like all muscle cars, to include Mopars. If they wern't so dog gone expensive to buy/fix/repair/own I'd have a few. Namely a 68-70 Charger, 70 Cuda, 67-69 Dart, 70-72 Duster/Demon. And probably even a '76 Coronet with a 440 big block.

My first new car was a '73 Duster, 340, 4spd, 3:55, Tahitian Gold color. A little over 3,000 bucks as I recall.

My favorites are the 68-69 Chargers. Maybe I'll pick one up when the muscle car market crashes again.

I bought mine in 1974 (340, 3.55, 4 speed. Ralleye dash) I still own it and it has aprox 57K miles. The car is basically stock, Accel dual point, heads were redone recently, Flowmaster exhaust. I don't think I'll ever sell it and will probably pass it on to my son.

I posted this chart before. It gives a pretty good indication of what people are talking about when they say what color their Mopar is. Enjoy
