What you're complaining about is a LED bulb inside a reflector housing instead of projector housing headlights. LED bulbs in a proper projector lens housing will soften and focus the light source better instead of diversing it all over.

Oh, and I wanted to respond again to #2 post here.
Yeah, sure, white lights indicate driving in reverse.
I'll see YOUR response next time you see BRAKE lights approaching you on a dark backroad arterial.
First thought is usually reflex - What the hell? Then you may employ logic and try to figure it out with what lights for what. As all this is happening at 50mph and very fast.
