I was born in Oxnard at the old Saint Johns Hospital, My dad worked at the CB base. He was stationed in San Diego on a Destroyer but while on shore leave spent his time on the CB base working on weapon systems at NYMISIS (Not sure I spelled that right.). I grew up three blocks away from the base.

Longest trip I took was in a truck when I was a kid. My parents had a Ford F250 with a camper and we left Port Hueneme for a trip to Chicago when I was a kid. Then went back home.

As a teen and adult the most I ever drove was from Oxnard California to Salt Lake City Utah. I prefer to fly.

Split into two days, NE Atlanta to College Station, TX. 15 hours total.
One day, SE Pennsylvania to NE Atlanta. 13 hours total. Made several 12 hour trips from the GA/SC border to SE Pennsylvania. Also did Marshall TX to NE Atlanta which was right at 12 hours.
