That it one thing I miss living here. When you live in a climatic area, you don't see as many of the classics. When they are out during summer you can't blink or you will miss them! Most of them have a limited time for road use as they are busy chip sealing the raods to prepare for winter.

My first car in the early 80's was a '67 Mustang. I worked at a Taco Bell on the main drag and we'd get tons of true classics coming in and parking.

Default cleosmom

Hurray! Another Mustanger! I currently drive a slightly modified '68 Fastback. It has a pumped up 302 with Tri Y headers and Thrush glasspacks.
Needless to say there are lots of clubs and shows in my area. to view our club pull up www.roadangelscarclub.com under members mine is the only blue Mustang.

Thanx for responding

My 'Stang was a straight six, 200 cc. The a/c was 465, four windows down and 65 mph

It was Lime Gold aka pea soup green, not my choice but that was the factory color and my dad rebuilt 'stangs to factory specs. She was pony car interior and had a black vinyl top.

I had wanted the fastback he did, however since it had a v-8 little miss leadfoot here wasn't allowed

I don't belong to a car club, but can I use this as an opportunity to say the 1966 Pontiac GTO is the greatest car ever built?

Member of the North Texas Camaro Club. Proud owner of two:
68 RS Convertible and #'s matching (she is my lil cruiser )
69 RS/SS #'s matching (this is the bad boy )
And always on the market for any cars that appeal. Would LOVE to have a 65 vette, split window.

Barrett Jackson is in January (uh-oh).

Was looking for an E-body Mopar, but due to unreasonable prices I ended up buying a '70 Torino instead. Can't wait to ramp that sucker up!!!

I haven't given up on my Mopar dream yet - I'll get one some day. I will be getting the 2008 6.1L Hemi Challenger next year. I would just like to have a '70 or '71 to go along with it!
