Depends on the situation. We know they are only offering It cause they know there is money to be made. Sounds like private party he probably could get $65K. I'm wondering if you deal with the same kind of shady stuff with a higher end vehicle; tire kickers, and time wasters.

Could you list the specific 6 Series model specifics?

Tons of options.

Craigslist, Cars.com, AutoTrader, or engaging a resale broker...just to name a few. Many dealers routinely search CL to meet a client's request or to fill their inventory.

Someone in my office bought a 2008 Gallardo off Craigslist for $110k. He and the seller drove to a mechanic for a PPI and all was well.

They fall faster than Bill Clinton's pants with an intern in the room!

Hopefully your friend didn't pay sticker to start with. Also keep in mind the 6 series is mechanically identical to the cheaper 5 series so that hurts them also.

What is the tax rate in AZ where you'd pay $10k+ in taxes on a $90k + or - car?

BMW Car Club of America's publication, "Roundel". Or Sports Car Market magazine. If you want to go with a print ad.

Depending on your market, you could even put an ad in the local newspaper.

Probably the quickest would be as noted Bimmerforums.
