Plenty of cars can do 146 mph. The question is, how quick did he get up to 146 mph? Yes, SRT4s can be quick, but just because he was clocked at 146, doesn't mean his car is fast.

I don't care how fast it can go I wouldn't go that fast in a dang Neon!!!

Lots of other cars on the road I would have no problem going that fast in but not a crap box like that lol

If it's the same place, I got popped for 96 back when the limit was 55. At the time, I wasn't aware that more than 30 over was an arrestable offense...but I was informed of it at that point in time.

You can make most things go fast if you know what you are doing. When I was in the Army, for a few months just before I ETSed I was the NCOIC of the Morale Support Activities go-kart track at Ft. Hood (fortunately*** for me, across the road from Darnall Army Hospital). For the little kiddies, we had the usual little carts with 3.5HP B&S engines. For the adults, we had something a little different- a little seat 2" off the pavement on tubular rails with a McCulloch racing engine on it, behind the seat. Those little buggers would top out at 107mph.

***The 'fortunately' part comes in because those engines had to be torn down and re-built every night, and re-tuned in the morning. To re-tune the motor, we'd sit sideways in the seat to make the carb adjustments while going around the track, which featured an 'S' turn in addition to the usual left, left, left. A little low on coffee one morning, I hit the 'S' at a fairly high rate of speed while still sitting sideways...yeah, it rolled over, I don't know how many times, and I got [messed] up pretty good (nothing compared to the times I got [messed] up for other reasons, but still nice to have the Docs so close at hand).

Most German cars are electronically limited to 125mph. They could but they can't.

I have Z-rated Kumhos. More than 149mph, cheaper than most name brand's S or T rated tired that are limited to below 120mph.

Actually, BMW, Audi, Merc and VW governed their vehicles to 155. No clue where you are getting 125 from.
