Fool. At speeds above 200 mph cameras don't click it anymore. TopGear had this proven. he should be going 200plus all the time.

Hard to believe.

I did not think any production car could attain that speed.

I agree with this magazine. I believe it was KPH and not MPH

200 MPH in a 2011 Mustang? Probably Not!

Nope nope nope.

No chance a basic Mustang hit 208. Modified, unmodified, or dropped from a plane. Especially on a public road. You also don't "turn off" your brake lights.

I can only assume you guys are not familiar with the Texas Mile. There are a lot of street Mustangs breaking the 200 mph barrier. Obviously not stock but this kids Mustang wasn't stock either. Here's a list of the folks that belong to the 200+mph club.

Jealous much?? Are you trying to say that NO mustang can go 208? Why not on a public road??? This was in Oklahoma... The entire state is flat, and the highways are near all straight cause there is nothing to get in the way of em.

Yea, well my Silverado tops out at 99 and my BMW 530i caps at 120, so I have 218. He's just a ***** to those of us with accumulated speed.

Kidding aside, well done if he did it. Having driven through OK and TX, I wish I had more speed to let it rip.

I can believe he got it up to 208.. I'm surprised that he managed to live through it.

Most of us do not have the skills for that kind of speed, especially on public roads. The slightest amount of overcorrection, a pothole.. Since it's Texas, an armadillo in the road.. They'd have needed a shovel and sponge to collect what was left of him.
