Also, the show is run all over the world. They explained this in the episode.

I know where it's run.

It is one thing to be caustic about Americans while on GB soil. It is very much so different - and rather offensive to the country - to do this while somewhere in the US desert. Isn't that where the scene was? Is Amazon British company? I think they are down here in Seattle, I see their HQ from my office windows. To me, it's a bit different from being owned by BBC.

I stay firm - that was not nice. Inappropriate and bad taste.

Though they did this before. Their trip through Alabama almost ended them being shot at. Maybe it won't hurt for someone to actually really punch JC once. Willbe quite symbolic.

Quite entertaining, but I have already seen others review the cars, including the 918 v P1 v LaFerrari, a long time ago.

Why was Hammond dressed so preppy? It looks weird on a car show.

.....of course the not nice, the inappropriate and bad taste is one reason the old Top Gear was loved by so many people throughout the world. Why ruin a good thing.

Because it's not your normal car show.

Many complaints about the new show. Two of the newest:

Gypsies are offended and have complained to the British entity that censors television programs:

Jeremy Clarkson angers gypsies with insurance joke on The Grand Tour debut - Mirror Online

This statement offended a female critic:

Literature isn’t far from Clarkson’s mind, either. While complaining about the “boring” feel of a rather nice-looking white Porsche, he says to Hammond: “It was like being stuck in a Victorian women’s novel.” (I wonder if the knows that 40% of the viewers of the old Top Gear were female.)

TV Review: ‘Grand Tour’ With Jeremy Clarkson, Other ‘Top Gear’ Hosts | Variety

Of course, before the program even aired, social justice warriors tried to get Jeremy fired for an ariticle he wrote for the Sunday Times:

Jeremy Clarkson criticised over transgender comments - BBC Newsbeat

Most of the article is now behind a paywall

Jeremy Clarkson: Transgender issues are driving me nuts. I need surgery on my tick boxes | The Sunday Times

The conclusion: THE GRAND TOUR IS A ROUSING SUCCESS!!

It's British entertainment, ever watched Ed Norton make fun of American actors? It's the same thing. Never take these shows seriously.
