I have only had the car for two months. They said the hoses are fine but they could not get to the radiator since there is a cover under the car.

Is this an expensive repair? Would a repair like this be covered under the full factory warranty?

New car? Yes it would be covered under warranty. Depending on the car it could be expensive.

I bought it used but it's still covered under full warranty for another 1500 miles

Well they could claim it was damaged by the owner rather than a defective part.

I am going to take it in and see what they say.

That will be difficult to claim without visible evidence that the radiator is damaged. If you hit something hard enough to crack the radiator you're going to have visible damage on the vehicle.

What kind of car is it?

On some of the older more established domestics you can get an aftermarket installed for around 200.

As for a warranty, seems unlikely or not without some wrangling.

Do you know for a fact there is a leak? Any puddles on the driveway or in the garage. Has the coolant level dropped? Just because someone who does repairs for a living says you need repairs doesn't necessarily make it so.
