First of all Nissan around here is pretty unusual. Secondly I have not seen a 300Z in ten years or more. Do they still make them? I saw a swarm of 280s a few years ago, it must have been a club, but that was an unusual event too.

After the 300ZX they made the 350Z for a few years followed by the 370Z, which is still in production.
There's a guy near me that has a bout a dozen early 300ZXs in various states of repair sitting around his house and on the street. Occasionally I'll se a newer 300ZX or a Supra or two there, as well. THis is a couple of them:
saw a 91 Caddy Eldorado today.....39K original miles, one owner. White/light tan interior. Guy just bought it from an estate sale and paid $2000 for it.
I saw an old air cooled beetle. I get a bigger kick out of seeing those driven than a ferrari.
I’m with you there. Same goes for a Citroën 2CV, I get a kick out of seeing those and similar cars too.
