Diehard battery...available at all Sears automotive centers

I have heard of grounds being disconnected. I had this happen with a faulty alternator.

Check your alternator as well. It may not be re-charging the battery like it should.

If the battery shows bad then the problem could be just that, a faulty battery, if it does it agian then I would have it checked for a short.

A simple test would be to buy a voltmeter that plugs into your cigarette lighter, I have found these at Wal-Mart for example, will tell you right away if your alternator is charging and how well.

Sometimes a new battery is just defective, and fails early in service. Rare but it happens.

M3 is spot on...I've seen it many times. This van has been around for awhile so please spend a few bucks and find out what killed the battery and be sure to fix it. There is nothing worse than being in the middle of nowhere (where these things always seem to happen) and the battery is dead as can be.
