Yep! That's why a crap car like Hyundai has once again hoodwinked us. Wrap it up as pretty as can be and fool the people.
OK, you had a bad experience with Hyundai. We get it already. So I'm making a proposal: we all acknowledge that you don't like Hyundais, and you stop bringing it up in every goddamn thread you post in. Deal?

Is it my imagination, or do the new Lincoln vehicles have dashboards that look like they're from the 1970's?

Interesting to read, since one of the biggest hyped American cars in the past few years, the new Challenger, has an absolutely pathetic parts-bin interior, whereas the original ideas were to allude to the original with the pistol grip and the row of gauges in the cluster.

Very typical. Rangers and Explorers had the same interiors for years, Tahoe/Silverado, etc.
The difference is that American companies are designing interiors to look better, but after a sit in the new Malibu it is still the same old hard plastic in a new shape. They still have a ways to go.
