I took some back roads home a while ago, and as I was driving by an old farm there was a '42-'48 Ford sitting on a trailer next to a barn. Well I've been talking about it like a little kid making a Christmas list. Then she called me up on her brake today, and asked me if I had talked to the guy about buying that car....Is the first sign of the end of times? Maybe she figures that he'll say now and I'll shut up about it?
Not really. Ford didn't make cars from 1943-1945 because of WWII, and 1942 models are rare because they stopped production on February 2 of that year. Plus they don't really look like the 1946-'48 models at all.

Don't read too much into it at this point. And maybe this belongs in the relationships forum, not sure.
