I thought this was funny. FCA announced the release of the +/- 800 h.p. "Demon" (I think it is a Challenger Hellcat, but not certain). So in response Hennessy came out with a 1000 h.p. Camaro called "Exorcist."
If I were a retired multi-millionaire, but might bite and got to a track to exorcise some demons.
And there's the major hurdle for the Camaro. You have to be some kind of stupid to give John Hennessey any front money and expect the car to be delivered, considering his past reputation of screwing folks over. There's still folks waiting for either a their torn apart Viper courtesy John Hennessey, or their money back. Hard to believe this slimeball is still in business.
One of many still waiting : Ex-Employees Say Hennessey Is A Bigger Mess Than You Ever Imagined
I don't know how that guy has managed to avoid jail time for fraud after all this time. I really don't.
People want to know where all the money goes, I imagine it's spent on a team of lawyers keeping him out of jail for defrauding his customers left and right.

I'd always heard people warn not to send any cars to Hennessey. I'd always assumed that this was an issue you would find with many specialty builders, and that Hennessay HAD to be far better than the young guys who wrench on the weekend - and then decide they can be major tuners - but have no business sense and end up over their heads. From this article it appears that Hennessay is just as bad as the worst of them - and a thief to boot.
Lesson seems to be that if you want a hot car, you'd best buy the parts from a source where you can walk in and measure and view the par and take it home with you - and then install them yourself.
If what I read in these articles is true, Hennessey should be in federal prison.

Ford is going to announce the "JESUS CHRIST" Mustang next week. It has 2000 HP and will kill both of them.
Jesus died from sticks and romans.... Demons and Exorcist are far more alpha than that.
Actually, he was just sticking to the script.
