For 1971, I would go for the Hemi Cuda vert. It would be tough to decide whether the keep it or sell it for $4 million.

No. I was not born in 71, just commenting on the other poster's choice.

Last one I knew about was some years ago, it sole for $4 million I think (or maybe $2 million). I tried to buy one when I was newly 18. I had $500. I asked to borrow $250 and my dad said No, it gets bad mileage and you will get tickets. I am not loaning you the money.

But dad, I only need $250 for a car with a million or so. . . .

If only we could foresee the future.

Of course I had forgotten the GTO Judge was also 1971. That would be a tough call. Frankly, if I chose the Cuda over a judge, my son might kill me. But then his dream GTO is a 66 not a judge. BUt I could sell the Cuda and buy ten 66 GTOs.

For me, 1963, there is nothing to discuss. The coolest 'vette ever made is without question the king of 1963. I cannot think of anything that even makes it into the ring. 1971 is a year of tough choices. One of the best years for muscle ever.

well it would be a toss up between a 65 Buick Riviera, Mercury Monterey Marauder, or a lowly Shelby Cobra
