I don't even like getting up that high around here, too much traffic most of the time. I wouldn't mind getting my R1000 out on a track just to open it up, but that's something down the road.

At least with a sport bike you can get the speed up quick and get it slowed right back down. You don't have to spend a long time at speed

126. I was passing a guy an the freeway to Vegas in my Porsche and happened to look at the speedo. I only remember the number because I was so surprised. It felt like we were doing 70.

That's a good point. Personally I'd rather be quick than fast.
