100% serious here......Up until a couple of years ago, the local mega-dealer sent us a letter a month advising us that they had a long list of buyers looking for quality used vehicles like our 1999 Ford Windstar. Guaranteed us above KBB value no less. What would that have been......$500, $600. Should have taken it, scrapyard only gave us $250 back in 2010.
Like every time I was in the Acura dealer's service area several years ago (with appointment), a chalk board in the area "by coincidence" noted that they was looking to buy my exact model and year (along with a few others)! Anything to get you over to the showroom.....

Figure a lure to get me in. I mean I go in I could get the deal I want, probably mot, but I still end up with $25 can't complain
A couple of years I cashed out about $130 worth of those from various dealers.
I don't seem to be getting them any more. But if I get 'em, I'm comin'... I like getting paid to take test drives.
