Good question. I think your acquaintance owns a car. Dealer might agree to cancel if he can retain the down payment, if any. It would be nice if a Pennsylvania contract lawyer chimed in.

Yeah, and they got names like Drive Here Pay Here with all-Hispanic staff and clientele. Nothing wrong with that. They are just catering to a specific market segment but people know exactly what they are getting into.

I think the only options are A) Live with the mistake and retain good credit B) Beg for mercy C) Leave the car at the dealership and default on the loan.
